Claude Expands App Connectivity for Enhanced User Experience

Claude Expands App Connectivity for Enhanced User Experience

Claude has broadened its connectivity options, allowing users to link various everyday applications alongside existing work tools. This includes popular services like AllTrails, Instacart, Audible, Booking.com, and TripAdvisor, among others.

Since its launch in July 2025, Claude's directory has expanded to over 200 connectors, covering a wide range of applications in design, finance, productivity, and health. Users frequently combine multiple apps in a single conversation, streamlining their workflows. For instance, a product manager might extract data from Amplitude, create a presentation in Canva, and share it via Asana, all within the same chat.

This latest update enhances Claude's ability to assist with personal tasks as well. Users can now connect to services such as Intuit TurboTax, Resy, Spotify, StubHub, Taskrabbit, and Uber Eats, with plans for further integrations in the future.

Claude has also improved how it suggests connectors during conversations. It now recommends the most relevant app based on the user's current activity, whether it's making a reservation, adding items to a shopping cart, or booking a flight.

For example, when a user asks Claude for a weekend hike suggestion, it can pull up nearby trails from AllTrails that match their preferences. Users can further refine these recommendations seamlessly within the chat.

Importantly, Claude maintains an ad-free environment, ensuring that there are no sponsored placements in its responses. When multiple connectors can assist, Claude displays them ranked by relevance to the user.

Connecting an app allows Claude to access it on the user's behalf, but it does not use the user's data for training purposes, nor does it share conversation history with the connected apps. Users can also disconnect services at any time.

While Claude offers suggestions and makes recommendations, it always seeks user confirmation before proceeding with any bookings or purchases.

The more apps a user connects, the more functionalities Claude can provide. It suggests relevant connectors as users work, which can be easily installed on desktop or mobile. Once connected, these services become available in all conversations.

Connectors are accessible on all plans, with mobile functionality currently in beta. For a complete list of available connectors, users can visit the directory on Claude's website.
